“Scientific Services & Internet” (sometimes referred as “Abrau”) conference has quite a long history. It was devoted to using supercomputer resources in science and education, discussing of new parallel programming technologies, developing of Internet projects on supercomputing activities. On the first conference day, the Top50 rating of the most powerful CIS computers was announced. Important part of the conferences was PhD showcase for students, postgraduates and young scientists. Conference was sponsored by leading HPC companies.

Until 2014, the conference was held annually in September in Novorossiysk (1 200+ km from Moscow), on the Black Sea coast. Started from 2015, the conference changed its format. Saving fall as a general conference time, it was moved to Moscow conjoined with another Russian HPC events. "Russian Supercomputing Days" is the new conference name.
