“Scientific Services & Internet” (sometimes referred as “Abrau”) conference has quite a long history. It was devoted to using supercomputer resources in science and education, discussing of new parallel programming technologies, developing of Internet projects on supercomputing activities. On the first conference day, the Top50 rating of the most powerful CIS computers was announced.
The rapid introduction of supercomputing technologies in everyday practice sets crucially new tasks for Higher Education system. It requires an extensive training of not only computing-competent users, but specialists in Parallel Computations and Supercomputing Technologies.
