Workshop is based on the MSU "Supercomputing Technologies" Research and Educational Center. Workshop topics cover all aspects of supercomputers, parallel and distributed computing for the large tasks solving.

Workshop chair is Prof. Viktor Sadovnichy, MSU rector, academician.

The united conference will cater to the interests of a wide range of representatives from science, industry, business, education, government, and students – anyone connected to the development or the use of supercomputing technologies. The conference topics will cover all aspects of supercomputing technologies: software and hardware design, solving large tasks, application of supercomputing technologies in industry, exaflop computing issues, supercomputing education, and many others.

International Summer Supercomputing Academy provides a unique opportunity to study a wide range of directions in supercomputing technologies and parallel programming.

The main objective of the Consortium is to use the School of Higher Education’s powerful potential to develop and implement Supercomputing Technologies in Russian education, science and industry.

“Scientific Services & Internet” (sometimes referred as “Abrau”) conference has quite a long history. It was devoted to using supercomputer resources in science and education, discussing of new parallel programming technologies, developing of Internet projects on supercomputing activities. On the first conference day, the Top50 rating of the most powerful CIS computers was announced.

The rapid introduction of supercomputing technologies in everyday practice sets crucially new tasks for Higher Education system. It requires an extensive training of not only computing-competent users, but specialists in Parallel Computations and Supercomputing Technologies.
